What technology Have you used? How have you developed its uses?
SLR camera- When using this camera in AS i did not think about the location or the lighting when doing this i just reliyed on photoshop to change my photographs and lighting. In A2 when completing the digipack/poster location was key and the lighting of the setting was just as important, as we wanted the photo to look rural and edgy and we wanted the photograph to portray this even before we began editing. As since my genre for my music magazine was pop so my image needed to look effective and bright to make it look girly. However the genre for my music video was indie so i didnt feel like we could use as much editing
Internet- Using the internet throughout the 2 years has been a big aspect of both projects and a lot of help, it helped me get ideas, research on existing products. However i used it a lot more in A2 to do a lot more research, such as songs as i could use, lyric research, band name generator, google images and also to look at existing products so i think i developed this and used what i could to make my product to the highest success it could potentially be. In AS i used it to look at existing products of music magazines such as layout, and also high end singers that could appear on the front cover and who i could base my product on.

Photoshop- My photoshop skills have developed through the 2 years as from my school magazine i used word to create my product with basic skills used such as: cropping, tilting and word art. When i got to A2 level i progessed a lot by creating my Music magazine on photoshop, this helped me create layers so i could focus on each individual aspect and make it look as real as existing products. I also used different tools to do the editing and cutting out for my magazine such as: Lasso tool, rubber tool,.. .Using all of these tools helped make my pictures and magazine realistic against magazines out there already.
